Struggles in middle class families

Middle class families often face financial problems, as they typically rely on one person's income to support the entire family. For example, consider Rajesh, an employee in a private company who earns a monthly salary of 35,000/-. He supports a family of six, including two school-going children, a housewife, and his elderly parents.

Despite his income, Rajesh struggles to make ends meet. His children's school fees alone amount to 100,000/- per academic year. In addition, he has to cover his wife's expenses (10,000/-), his own expenses (9,000/-), monthly EMI payments (10,000/-), daily groceries (2,500/-), and loan repayments (4,000/-).

At the end of the month, Rajesh has a negative savings balance of -500/-. To make up for this shortfall, he borrows 60,000/- from a moneylender.

As this example shows, middle class families can face significant financial challenges due to a lack of resources and increasing expenses.
